    Are you an experienced leader in communications and marketing?  Use your talents to make a difference in the lives of our hungry neighbors by crafting and sharing the story of the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank, one of the most respected charities in the area.  

    The successful candidate will direct the Food Bank’s public relations, media relations, and marketing efforts to build awareness and to position the organization as the leading hunger-relief agency in the Blue Ridge area.  

    Bachelor’s degree and extensive experience in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or related field is required. A talented writer, editor, and public speaker with supervisory experience is sought to join a busy and rewarding team environment.  

    The successful candidate will have the ability to think strategically and to innovatively shape and communicate our mission with the flexibility to meet multiple priorities.  Must have extensive computer experience in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Design Suite. Some experience in digital marketing preferred. The successful applicant must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
