Patrick Henry Community College (PHCC) is a comprehensive two-year college of the Virginia Community College System, serving the City of Martinsville and the counties of Henry and Patrick. PHCC serves approximately 3,500 credit and almost 2,700 non-credit students annually and, consistently ranks among the top ten “Most Tech-Savvy” community colleges in the country by the Center for Digital Education. It is one of the nation's 82 "Achieving the Dream" Leader Colleges. The college offers transfer programs, in addition to career-track and certification programs, and serves more than 200 employers through workforce development. Patrick Henry Community College is seeking a self-motivated and team-oriented individual for the Marketing and Community Development Specialist. The Specialist supports the division by preparing and disseminating marketing materials including but not limited to electronic newsletters, e-mail blasts, flyers, and press releases and brochures, maintaining and updating website and social media. Supports the Community Development Programs Coordinator by facilitating student registration and enrollment and processing information, and providing customer relations activities and visitor assistance. Position will also assist with supervising the ongoing operations of the Dalton IDEA Center.
Salary: Minimum $24,969, based on qualifications and experience, plus excellent benefits package.
