Harold Burson, founder and chairman of Burson-Marsteller, will be the keynote speaker at the annual James Madison University PRSSA Public Relations Banquet on Saturday, April 6, from 12:30-3:30 p.m., at the Holiday Inn in Harrisonburg.
In addition to enjoying dinner and good company, attendees will learn firsthand from Burson’s wise counsel and experienced insight on the past, present and future of public relations.
Named “The Century’s Most Influential PR Figure,” Burson has served the public relations industry for more than 60 years. In 1953, he and Bill Marsteller co-founded Burson-Marsteller, which grew into the largest public relations agency in the world. The global agency is celebrating its 60-year anniversary this year.
